Scenes in “Feelin’ It” by the American Idol winner feature the Bodie Island Lighthouse and N.C. 12. Also involved in the video shoot were Dune Burger restaurant, Kitty Hawk Kites, Jennette’s Pier, Birthday Suits, REAL Watersports, Dirty Dick’s Crab House and Carolina Designs, said Lee Nettles, managing director of the Visitors Bureau.
“The star tells us he and his family have enjoyed vacationing here on the OBX all his life, and it felt like a perfect fit for bringing his ode to summer to life on screen,” Nettles said in an e-mail.
“Aaron Tuell, Lorrie Love and the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau staff provided logistics assistance and orientation for the producers and nearly 30-person production in the days leading up to the filming.”
The video was directed by Roman White, winner of Emmy and country music video awards, and produced by Tameron Hedge, who included local talent as extras.
McCreery is a native of Garner, N.C.
