A crowd of well over 1,000 also enjoyed live music from TAUK, People’s Blues of Richmond and the Mark Schimick String Band.

The event, hosted by Hype Promotions and Dare County Arts Council, had everything from home-brew demonstrations and beer-centric workshops hosted by industry professionals to Games for Grown Folks, a field day-style game zone with life-sized Jenga, keg bowling, human foosball and life-sized Connect Four.

OBX Brewfest was the first major event at the venue overlooking the Roanoke Sound in Nags Head since a series of phased improvements began to the former Windmill Point property.
