Multiple oceanfront structures involved in Corolla fire

Crews were battling a fire early Saturday involving multiple structures on the oceanfront in Corolla. Firefighters from several departments were called to the Whalehead subdivision around 5 a.m.

Reports are that at least two homes on Lighthouse Road between Marlin Drive and Sailfish Street were involved. One person was treated for a minor burn at the scene by EMS. Other details were not immediately available.
