The Currituck Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce it has donated $1,253.78 to Currituck Senior Nutrition Program from the Currituck Chamber’s Spring Social event held this past spring 2019. These funds will help support the Home Delivered Meals (Meals on Wheels) Program which helps older people remain independent in their homes by providing a nutritious daily meal to individuals unable to shop, cook, or feed themselves.

The Currituck County Senior Centers; Barco, Knotts Island and Powell’s Point are places designed to give Senior Adults in Currituck the opportunity to meet other seniors, receive services geared towards seniors and participate in activities that will affirm their dignity and self-worth.

The Currituck Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with its Chamber members to continue these charitable works for the improvement of the community. We graciously thank our Chamber members for their participation in attending and providing items for the silent auction. The Corolla Wild Horse Fund also received an equivalent contribution.
