March 15: Here Comes Your Last Chance! The Grand Finale Concert!

By on January 15, 2020

This performance will mark the end of an era, so you won’t want to miss the very last concert sponsored by The Eastern Carolina Concert Society (ECCS) – being presented Sunday, March 15, 4pm, at Duck United Methodist Church, 1214 Duck Road.  The Grand Finale Concert will be a musical variety show celebrating years of dedicated volunteer work by the many board members and local performers who have brought to our Outer Banks community superb music programs with no charge for admission due to generous donations from our patrons.

This final program will feature some of our star performers, who have continued to make names for themselves here in The Outer Banks and beyond.  On March 15th, you’ll be entertained by keyboard wizards who performed in our 2018 “Out-standing” Keyboard Extravaganza; be inspired by The Drummond Family’s signature sound with newly-stylized gospel songs; be serenaded with an encore performance by well-established Trio La Mer; and be captivated by a long-awaited rendezvous with Ocracoke Island duo, Coyote.

Come hear Barry Ambrose, Tommy Midgett, and Tim Price work their magic on the piano and organ; Natalie Drummond and kids (Isaac and Pia) lift our spirits with their soulful vocals, keyboard and guitar-playing; Leslie Erickson, Sue Waters, and John Buford create their delightful synergy between violin, viola, and piano as Trio La Mer; Coyote duo Marcy Brenner and Lou Castro enchant us with their very personal musical interpretations of loving life together in their island community.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established to highlight local talent, The Eastern Carolina Concert Society (ECCS) is pleased as always to be able to offer this our final concert free to the public because of generous donations from our patrons.  We look forward to sharing this opportunity with you.
