Colington Rd. traffic stop nabs Ohio fugitive

On Feb. 2, 2020, a Dare County Sheriff’s Office Deputy from the A-District conducted a traffic stop near Town Hall Drive on Colington Rd.  That stop led to the seizure of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

Jennifer Lynn Freeman, 33, of the 100 Block of Vine Street in Georgetown, OH, was arrested and charged with the following: Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of Controlled Substance inside a Prison/Jail; Alter/Steal/Destroy Evidence; Fugitive from Justice Warrant from Ohio.

Freeman used her sister’s information when she was arrested. It was discovered the next day and Freeman was also charged with Identity Theft.  Freeman is still in custody under a $95,000 secured bond.
