March 7: Outer Banks Blanketeers spread cheer

By on February 20, 2020

The Outer Banks Blanketeers is a group of ladies who enjoy quilting and helping our community. Each Friday in January and February they meet at Duck United Methodist Church. A different pattern or idea is presented each week and one may follow that design or create from another pattern.

Saturday, March 7 from 10am to 3pm the results of their labors can be seen when 400 quilts will be displayed in Duck United Methodist Church, 1214 Duck Rd, Duck.   Each quilt will eventually be given to a child or adult who could be comforted by one of these.

All are invited and encouraged to come out to see these amazing creations and meet some of those who stitched them.
