First Flight Middle School baseball drops season opener 3-0 to Moyock

Moyock's starting pitcher Brady Williams get's the signal from the catcher. Williams would pitch 6 2/3 scoreless innings.
Issac Miles took the bump to start the game for First Flight and would pitch 5 innings, giving up the only runs of the game in the top of the 2nd inning.

The First Flight Middle School baseball team lost their season opener at home to Moyock Middle School 3-0 on March 11. Moyock earned all of their runs in the 2nd inning and held First Flight scoreless through 7.

First Flight will next host Currituck County on March 16.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Visitors Bureau will hold a public meeting to review the plans for an Outer Banks Event Center. Still in the conceptual phase, the Event Center is intended to provide suitable and flexible space for year-round events, concerts, sports, meetings, smaller tradeshows, galas and any number of other uses. Learn more about the benefits for visitors and residents and how the Event Center is planned to complement the new Soundside boardwalk that is being designed.
