Pasquotank County resident tests positive for coronavirus

Albemarle Regional Health Services Health Director R. Battle Betts, Jr., MPA, has been notified of the region’s first lab confirmed case of COVID-19. The individual is a resident of Pasquotank County and is at home on isolation.

ARHS is asking our community citizens to be vigilant in practicing preventive and safety measures that will help prevent the spread of the virus. This is the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Pasquotank County.

    REALLY, so sad. “I Dare you” is assuming that we all agree with what rules are being imposed on us too.
    Let’s face it, the whole world, not just our little piece of solace we call home, 2nd home or vacation spot, is suffering financially, physically and mentally at this point.
    The only thing we can do is rally and support one another as our beaches and community do constantly. We will again persevere.
    This is unchartered territory for EVERYONE, with that the rules will change as well, daily and sometimes hourly, as it lately seems to occur. So be it.
    Perhaps next time a better plan is in effect… I PERSONALLY HOPE THERE IS NOT A NEXT TIME.
    Be kind to one another, isn’t this Virus stressful enough to deal with?
