FFHS hoop star Blake heads to ECU

Congratulations to First Flight High basketball standout Dylan Blake, who will be continuing his career in Greenville, as he is headed to East Carolina University as a preferred walk-on. In his last season at First Flight, where he became the first player there to score 2,000 points, Blake averaged almost 29 points a game to go along with 8 rebound and 3 assists per contest.

In a post on Twitter announcing his college decision, Blake said that, “My dream since I was little was to play college basketball. I am blessed to have an opportunity such as this.”

His First Flight coach and school athletic director, Chad Williams, tweeted: “Congratulations Dylan! Now the hard work begins!
