Dare County has reported 10 new COVID-19 cases on July 6, bringing the total to 146 since the outset of the pandemic. As has been typical lately, of the 10 new cases, 8 of them involve individuals under the age of 25. Six of them are non-residents and four of them are residents of Dare County and the cases are split evenly between males and females.
As a way of gauging the trajectory of the COVID-19 infections in this county, this marks the 80th case reported since June 24, a period of 12 days. But there has only been one fatality and only two people are currently hospitalized. More information is expected from the county on the newest cases tomorrow.
