After being rescheduled from May to July due to Covid-19, the 23rd Mollie Fearing Memorial Art Show still hosted over 60 entries from local and regional artists.
From those entries, an anonymous judge carefully selected the following award recipients:
“I am very proud to have been encouraged by Chris, Lynne and Lou to enter the Mollie Fearing Memorial Art Show,” said Best In Show award recipient Julien McCarthy. “I am even prouder to have won Best in Show amidst such a stellar display of artistic talent. I am grateful to all who work to support the Arts Council and its activities.”
The Mollie Fearing Memorial Art Show will close at 5pm today, July 31. The show is held in memory of Mollie A. Fearing, one of the founders of Dare County Arts Council, and is known for showcasing vibrant, eclectic artwork. Mollie A. Fearing & Associates is the founding sponsor of the Mollie Fearing Memorial Art Show.
A special thank you to Best In Show award sponsor Michael Halminski Photographer and our Excellence award sponsors Gene and Bonita Shoap, Lucky 12 Tavern, The Willey Agency, and The Outer Banks Forum for the Lively Arts.
