Dare County reported nine new COVID-19 cases on Aug. 1, bringing the total number of cases reported here since the outset of the pandemic to 356. Five of the individuals are county residents and four are non-residents. Four of them are under 25 years of age, three are 25-49 and two are 65 years of age or older. Three of the non-residents have been transferred to their home counties for isolation, and the rest are isolating in Dare County.
