The Kitty Hawk Police Department posted this item on its Facebook page on Sept. 22 and is looking for anyone with additional information about this incident at Walmart. On Sept. 21, the Voice was contacted by an individual who had witnessed an individual acting strangely.

    Seriously? They originally said there was no validity to the claim and now there’s a “POI”? Personally I think everyone who comes out of Walmart acts strangely, myself including. It’s the a horrible place to have to spend time. Maybe the person was just trying to find his car…..

    Walmart spends a tremendous amount of funds on the safety and security of it’s customers, vendors and associates. For people to turn the discussion into a knock Walmart and their customers forum is wrong.
    If there is someone lurking out there whose intent is to cause anyone harm, let’s all practice “see something – say something” in a timely manner.
