Can your dog catch a frisbee, or can your cat do a flip? Does your bird sing a song? Maybe your pet is just really good at being cute! If you have a beloved pet that you think the world should see, enter its hidden talent, whatever it might be, in our Pet Talent Show Contest. N.C. Cooperative Extension Currituck County Center is hosting a Pet Talent Show Contest beginning Oct. 16th as part of the Fall Family Fun event. Participants will submit a video of their pet’s talent through our entry form. Once the entry period has closed, Fall Family Fun participants will be able to vote for the pet’s talent that they think is the best on our online fair page.

The rules for the Pet Talent Show Contest are simple, first, register for our Fall Family Fun event through eventbrite. This will give you reminders when we post our videos, articles, and more! After registering, sign up for the contest through our entry form. The form will ask for your contact information, demographic information, pet name, talent/act name, and a video of your pet’s talent. Video files can be no larger than 100 MB.

Entries will be accepted until 8:00 a.m. on Nov. 13th. Voting will then open for one week to allow Fall Family Fun participants to vote on their favorite pet talent. Voting will end on Nov. 23rd, and winners will be announced on Nov. 24th on our VR main stage event at Noon. Make sure to vote for your favorite talent, and check our fair page to see how well your pick is doing!

If you have questions or need accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact Adam Formella at 252-232-2262 or email no later than five business days before the event. Read more at:
