Dare County reports 6 new cases of COVID-19

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services reported 1,643 new cases of COVID-19 on Oct. 26. In other key metrics, hospitalizations were up over the previous day to 1,193, while the percentage of positive tests out of all tests administered fell below the 7% mark to 6.6%.

 

Dare County

The Dare County Department of Health and Human Services reported 6 new cases of COVID-19 on Oct. 26, bringing the total number of cases reported since the outset of the pandemic to 676. Three of the new cases involve county residents while three involved non-residents.

  • Adults in ICU with COVID-19 – 332 (up 22 since yesterday)
  • Patients presumed to be recovered – 231,611   
  • Reported cases in Dare, Currituck and Hyde Counties – 1,073 (Dare 676, Currituck 222, Hyde 175)
  • Completed tests – 3,863,108
  • Daily percent positive tests – 6.6%%
