Dare County vaccinates 500 today

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services reported 7,986 cases of COVID-19 on Jan. 16. Hospitalizations dropped modestly to 3,895 (21 fewer than the day before) and the percentage of positive tests out of all tests administered rose to 11.8%.

Dare County did not report any new COVID-19 cases on Jan. 16 because of the staff needed to man a vaccination clinic that administered 500 doses of COVID vaccine today.
