Dare County Virtual State of the County 2021 event to be livestreamed

By on January 23, 2021

The date of the 2021 State of the County presentation has been changed to Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 at 2 p.m.

Dare County and the Chamber of Commerce invite residents and visitors of the Outer Banks community to view the virtual presentation, which will be delivered by Dare County Board of Commissioners Chairman Robert L. “Bob” Woodard Sr.

Chairman Woodard will highlight the issues that were faced and the accomplishments that were achieved by Dare County during 2020—including the way the county continued to provide important and high-quality services to Dare County residents and visitors despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chairman Woodard will also share information about the wide array of events and projects that are currently underway and on the horizon in Dare County as the community looks to the future at the beginning of a brand new year.

Due to restrictions on gatherings caused by COVID-19, the event will be livestreamed on Dare County’s YouTube Channel, www.YouTube.com/DareCounty.

Viewers who have questions for Chairman Woodard will have the opportunity to submit them via email during the presentation for a Q&A session that will end the event. For more information about State of the County 2021, visit www.DareNC.com.
