Currituck vaccine clinic moved from Thurs. to Fri.

Currituck County has announced that the COVID Vaccination First Shot Clinic scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 28 in Currituck County has been moved to Friday, Jan. 29 due to the unfavorable weather forecast for Thursday.  All other details of the clinic remain the same.  The clinic will be held at Maple Park from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will be a drive-thru format and will operate on a first come, first serve basis.

Dare clinic to vaccinate over 1,000 today

Dare County’s Jan. 27 vaccine clinic will administer 1,050 doses of the Moderna vaccine at the Parks & Rec building in Kill Devil Hills. County health officials are still searching to find additional doses of the vaccine for their Jan. 29 clinic, so that no appointments need to be rescheduled. The county has thus far been able to find about 400 of the 700 doses that were diverted in order to supply a mass vaccine event in Charlotte.

Corolla vaccine at whale head club today. Many locals were not informed about it. First come first serve, many out of staters and people under 65. They ran out early. I hope this doesn’t happen to you in Dare County. I hope the county residents over 65 were able to get their vaccine, I herd from some they were in line when it ran out

A huge thank you to the Dare Health Dept for a perfectly organized vaccination process. Got my vaccine yesterday in KDH. Took less than 30 minutes. Very well done!
