League Health Education Chair, Courtney Gallop, will host Dr. Amanda Pettibone-Pond on Thursday, February 25th at 5:00 pm via ZOOM for a program that is free and open to the public. Dr. Pettibone-Pond is a new local urologist in the Outer Banks. She will speak about today’s top three urological challenges and discuss the latest treatments for each before she takes questions from attendees. The Outer Banks Hospital and Medical Group recently announced the opening of Outer Banks Urology in the hospital’s Medical Office Building and welcomed urologist Amanda Pettibone-Pond, MD as their new provider. A graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, she is board certified in urology.
February’s program kicks off a series of Health education offerings the League will present in the future. Courtney Gallop is currently planning future health video discussions to explore the latest research, treatments, and life-style choices that affect a myriad of health conditions.
