The Dare County Library has announced the next virtual Zoom presentation as part of its monthly Virtual Enrichment Series for Adults. On Thursday, March 18, 2021, the Dare County Library will present “Essential Oils: Beyond the Diffuser.”

The program will be led by Christina Deneka of Hollow Daze U. Having formulated more than 25,000 clean personal care items over the last 10 years for Hollow Daze Surf Designs, Deneka’s new venture, Hollow Daze U, and her upcoming book will help people make their own clean personal care items quickly and easily using only basic kitchen skills and equipment.

In the March 18 class, Deneka will share her principles of clean formulation and provide master recipes for lip balm, eczema salve and aroma sprays, as well as how to make Lemongrass Lips and Shaman Super Stick & Dream Spray. A Q&A session will follow.

The virtual presentation will take place on March 18, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will be repeated that day from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
