The First Flight Rotary Club is hosting a Rotary Rollin’ to Fight Hunger event on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 11:30 am-1:30 pm.The community is invited to drive through for a free bagged lunch, including grilled hot dogs. This is a fundraiser to fight hunger in Dare County, so donations to benefit the Beach Food Pantry will be collected from those able to give.
The event will be held in the Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant parking lot, Kill Devil Hills. This will be a COVID-safe event: Lunches will be to-go and there will be no on-site dining in order.
Businesses may contact Carl Classen, First Flight Rotarian, at carl@obxtime.com or 252-489-9198 to pre-order for their employees. Again, donations are requested but not required.
First Flight Rotary Club is a diverse group of business and professional men and women from the Outer Banks who have come together to help our community, our country, and our world. The Beach Food Pantry reaches out and provides nutritional assistance to Dare County residents in collaboration with our community. They provide two-weeks of free groceries to individuals and families experiencing a crisis or emergency.
