Isabella Thorn (#11, First Flight) takes a tumble after she tangles feet with Manteo's Erica Sawyer (#19).
Manteo's Thalia Aguirre Gomez (#11, left) and First Flight's Isabella Thorn (#11, right) race to gain control of the ball during the early stages of the first half.
The Manteo squad rest and take on fluids while listening to their coaches during halftime.
Coaches Ramirez and Mount provide instructions to the First Flight team at the halftime break.
The ball is deflected by the Manteo keep Montanta Miller only to have it chipped into the net by a trailing First Flight player.

The Manteo and First Flight girls soccer teams met for the second time this season with Manteo playing host to the Lady Nighthawks. The result, a 6-0 win for First Flight, was a near carbon copy of the first game in which First Flight won 7-0.  The game play was also similar – the methodical, constant setup and cross-field pressing by First Flight combined with strong foot work and passing, once again proved too much for Manteo. Nevertheless, similar to the first game, Manteo played hard and with impressive team spirit throughout the game.

First Flight is now 3-0 on the season and Mateo drops to 0-4.
