Manteo shuts out Perquimans, 6-0

Manteo High School defeated visiting Perquimans in a home soccer match Monday by the final score of 6-0.  Manteo was led by A. Landazuri with three goals and one goal each from CiCi Lowe, Amy Rios Tovar, and Keylin Zavala.  In addition to the offense keeper Montanta Miller recorded seven saves in the shutout.  In all Manteo had 32 shots with 25 on goal.  Midfielder Angelica Landazuri was named the player of the match.  The next match for MHS is a home game with Camden on Wednesday, March 31st, at 4:30.

Patrick Sinclair is the minister at Mt. Carmel UMC in Manns Harbor.
