Hot bats slug First Flight softball pass Hertford County

The First Flight Lady Nighthawks hosted the Hertford County Lady Bears on a cool, windy afternoon in Kill Devil Hills.

The First Flight softball team wins their home conference game against Hertford County 26-0 in three innings on April 13 in Kill Devil Hills.The lady Nighthawks were on a veritable merry-go-round with players reaching base by solid hits, walks, and being hit by pitch.

A solid pitching performance by starter Emma Richards and reliever Anna Rogers aided by fine defensive play held the Lady Bears scoreless. The now 5-1 Lady Nighthawks will next play Hertford County away for their back-to-back games on Wednesday April 14.
