3 COVID cases reported in Dare County

The Dare County Department of Health and Human Services reported 3 cases of COVID-19 on April 15, bringing the total number of cases reported here since the outset of the pandemic to 3,048. All 3 of the cases reported today are residents of Dare County. There are currently 43 active cases of COVID-19 in Dare County and only 1 person is currently hospitalized with the virus.

  • Adults in ICU with COVID-19 – 249 (4 fewer than yesterday)
  • Patients presumed to be recovered – 900,174
  • Reported cases in Dare, Currituck and Hyde Counties – 5,185 (Dare 3,048, Currituck 1,475, Hyde 662)
  • Completed tests – 11,830,736
  • Daily percent positive tests – 5.1%
  • Vaccine doses administered – 6,164,243
