Severe Thunderstorm Watch has ended

Update 2 pm: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has just been issued by the National Weather Service at Newport/Morehead City that extends northward from coastal South Carolina up into Dare County. These storms could include isolated hail (up to lime size), scattered wind gusts up to 75 miles an hour, and possible frequent lightning. The Watch is in effect until 7pm.
6/15 at 9 AM Southern and eastern portions of Eastern North Carolina have been upgraded to a slight risk of severe storms. In addition to damaging winds and large hail, very frequent lightning, and flooding rains are possible, especially in urban and poor drainage areas.
