UPDATE: Missing 81-year-old man found safe

The Town of Duck now reports that Mr. Andrews was located at a vacant house in Four Seasons on the morning of Oct. 11 at 10:20 a.m. and transported to Outer Banks Hospital for medical evaluation. The Town would like to thank all that assisted in locating the missing person. Outside of Duck Police, Fire, and Surf Rescue, support was given by SSVFD, the Currituck Sheriff’s Department, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the staff of Four Seasons in Duck.

The Town of Duck has just released a missing person alert for Michael Andrews, an 81-year-old male who is 5’10” tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Michael Andrews has gray hair and was wearing a blue plaid long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans. He was last seen near 107 Turnbuckle Court in Four Seasons in Duck. He has dementia.

Duck Police Department asks Duck property owners with home security cameras such as Ring to review the footage from this afternoon and evening for the missing person.
