Manteo handles Pasquotank, 32-16, in homecoming win

Manteo High School’s football team capped off a week of homecoming activities with a 32-16 home victory over Pasquotank on Oct. 8.

Pasquotank opened the scoring in the first quarter followed by three straight touchdown drives by Manteo. With both teams going for two points after each score, Manteo led at halftime 24-8.

Manteo finished its scoring for the night with another touchdown and two-point conversion to lead 32-8. Pasquotank scored late in the game to make the final score 32-16. Manteo goes on the road to take on Northeastern on Thursday, Oct. 14.
