Among the things we at the Voice have to be thankful for this Thanksgiving is the support of our readers and advertisers who enable us to report on the great community living on this remarkable intersection of land and water. As we all take this day to celebrate with family and friends, we hope that you too find ample reasons to be grateful and thankful this season. From all us here, Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving, Voice. You are tops in the local news and I appreciate the sort of effort that goes into trying to deliver a quality product on tight budgets and understaffed.

Hey Travis, thanks for the kind words I agree we don’t have the budget and resources of the Virginian-Pilot, and we would always like more, but we do have adequate resources to do our jobs.

The VOICE is truly a blessing to the community. Where readers can also be the writers. (always some thoughtful comments in the comments sections) Hopefully they’ve found a way to survive when local “newspapers” are shuttering in small towns around the world.
