Congratulations to the Dare County Babe Ruth Softball teams that delivered a terrific performance at the state tournament held in Havelock from June 25-29. The 8u team captured the championship by defeating Jamesville 14-3. The 12u squad won the title with a 10-1 victory over New Bern.

8u and 12u Dare County Babe Ruth Softball brought home the state championship today!!!! So proud of both of those teams and coaches. They both went undefeated the entire tournament. Wow!!! Great things are ahead of you girls!!!! All the 8u, 10u and 12u girls and coaches represented this county in the best way possible!!! Congratulations girls!!!!! Great job!!!!
