This First Friday (August 5) in downtown Manteo is going to be really special! Check out what we have happening this month.
– We have Outside! Exploring Color, Patterns and Beauty in Nature: Rosalia Torres-Weiner Solo Exhibition opening in our Vault Gallery. Come by and meet Rosalia and view her vibrant artwork.
– Awaiting Further Transformation: A Performance for Eight Voices will start at 5:30pm in the Courtroom Gallery. Lynne Scott Constantine and Suzanne Scott Constantine created this performance collaboratively with six other Outer Banks poets, performers, storytellers, and musicians.
– We also have Awaiting Further Transformation: Mixed Media by Suzanne Scott Constantine & Lynne Scott Constantine opening in our Courtroom Gallery immediately after the performance.
– Starting at 6:30pm, we have Havana Club playing in The Courtyard. Havana Club’s focus is traditional Latin Jazz, but the band provides a fun all ages family show of rock, folk covers as well as originals.
First Friday is a fun-filled, family-oriented event held the first Friday of each month, April through November, from 6pm to 8pm in historic downtown Manteo.
