The American Red Cross stresses that every second counts in cardiac arrest and people can save lives by knowing how to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). In about two hours, you can gain the knowledge and skills to help save a life. The training is provided by OBXCPR, a North Carolina Non-Profit and proud provider of Red Cross Training. There is no cost for the training but there is a $24 fee if you want Red Cross Certification. Classes are available on September 8th and 13th starting at 9:00 am. The class is approximately 2.5 hours. There is a limit of six students for each class. If you are interested in attending the training, please call 252-475-9270 and specify the date you prefer. For specific questions about the training, please contact Frank Spruill at obxcprinc@gmail.com or 252-207-9777.
