6th Annual Invitational Art Exhibition at Glen Eure’s Ghost Fleet Gallery

The Don and Catharine Bryan Cultural Series is hosting its 6th Annual Invitational Art Exhibition at Glen Eure’s Ghost Fleet Gallery in Nags Head.   The exhibition is entitled Fiber, Clay and Paint and will run from September 13 through October 6.  The Series will hold a public reception to open the exhibit on Thursday September 15 from 5 – 7 pm.

As the title suggests the exhibition features works in 3 mediums – fiber, clay and paint.

  • Artists working in clay include Kathleen Redman, Fred Vallade, Dustin Harris, Jim & Shirl Parmentier, Terry & Esi Ostovar and Kent Harris.
  • Painters showing work include Marcia Cline, Holly Nettles, James Melvin, Margie Sawyer, Kinga Rojek-Wojtowicz, Jefferson Glover and Rick Tupper.
  • The fiber artists included in the show are Inger Seitz, Beth Burns, Sandy West and Carol Anna Meese.

The exhibition features a silent auction with at least one piece by each artist up for bid.  All the work on display will be for sale.

The Bryan Cultural Series is a non-profit organization formed in 2012.  The board of directors is composed of nine community leaders dedicated to offering a series of high quality cultural events.  These events will include a variety of visual, literary and performing arts.  The board strives to glean from talent that has attained regional as well as national recognition to maintain a high standard.

Glen Eure’s Ghost Fleet Gallery is located at 210 E. Driftwood St., (in Gallery Row), Nags Head.
