Former Dare Planning Director Creef becomes OBAR Government Affairs Director

The Outer Banks Association of Realtors (OBAR) has announced that Donna Creef has joined OBAR as our Government Affairs Director (GAD). Donna, owner of Creef Consulting LLC, had an extensive career with the Dare County Planning Department, having worked there from 1988 until early this year. The last 12 years of her service with Dare County was as Planning Director.

Donna is well known for her work with flood insurance, land use plans, local elevation standards, and was the principal designer of the “Low Risk is Not No Risk” campaign.

Donna is looking forward to advocating on issues such as housing, economic sustainability, and private property rights.

    Her educational background is a degree in Business Administration. How is she qualified for this type of work?

    Interesting that though she has worked for the town of Duck as a contractor for the past year, it is not mentioned in her background.

    Why can’t an investigator of human trafficking have her picture in the paper? I doubt she’s doing undercover work.
