Manteo Preservation Trust Holiday Tour of Homes  December 3rd, 2022 1pm-6pm

Manteo will again be the site for the Holiday Tour of Homes presented by the Manteo Preservation Trust.  The tour is one day only, Saturday December 3rd, 2022. Outer Banks Distilling (home to Kill Devil Rum) is our tour host location where tickets can be purchased on the day of the tour only. This building is located at 510 Budleigh Street in Manteo. The ticket price is $25.00 per person, and it is a self-guided tour. This can be done via car, walking or bicycles provided by Manteo Cyclery on a first come, first served basis, or bring your own bike! The route is 1.75 miles, and it can be done in whatever property order you prefer. Ticket sales will begin at noon with the tour beginning at 1pm through 6pm. The last tickets will be sold at 5pm. Because of COVID concerns we will not be serving refreshments of any kind, either at the ticket location or in the individual properties.

Another part of our fundraiser includes several raffle baskets with donations from many local businesses. You may purchase these tickets for $10 each or six tickets for $50. Tickets will be drawn at 4pm in Outer Banks Distilling. You do not have to be present to win but you will need to be able to pick up your item that day or you have won, we can call you for a plan for a future pickup date.

Manteo hosts this festive, weekend-long  events that begins with a Friday night tree lighting, holiday pageant, fire pit, hot coco, and a Santa sighting plus much more. Saturday morning begins with the 50th Manteo Christmas parade on Dec. 3, followed by the Holiday Tour of Homes. Check the town website for times. North end of Roanoke Island has Winter Lights (within the Elizabethan Gardens) and The Island Farm, both with holiday activities. It is a wonderful time to come for the weekend or stay for the day to enjoy our area. Come early, shop, dine and fall in love with all Roanoke Island has to offer.

“Because of COVID concerns we will not be serving refreshments of any kind, either at the ticket location or in the individual properties.” I guess there are still TV watching, brainwashed Covidiots around , huh? Yeah, I’m going to go ahead and boycott all their efforts.
