Congrats to both teams who treated their fans to terrific seasons
The Manteo High and First Flight High menās soccer teams saw their terrific 2022 seasons come to an end with one-goal home losses in the NC Regional Championship contests on the Wednesday evening, Nov. 16.
Manteo dropped a hard-fought 1-0 game with Clinton, leaving the Redskins with a very impressive 17-3-3 overall season record. Over at First Flight, the Nighthawks fell to Jacksonville 2-1, with the visitors scoring both goals in the second half. For the season, First Flight ran up a 16-3-2 record.
