Local high school teams to tip off in conference hoops tourney on Feb. 14

The First Flight High School men’s and women’s basketball teams will be in action on Tuesday Feb. 14 when they host Currituck County in the Northeastern Coastal Conference Tournament. The men (15-8 on the season) will play at 7:30 p.m. The women (13-7) will play at 6 p.m.  Admission is $10.

Across the bridge, the Manteo basketball teams will also host the first round of the conference tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The women (14-5 on the season) will play Camden at 6 p.m. and the men (15-6) will face Camden at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10.
