KDH Police caution about travel hazard at the Colington/US 158 intersection

Kill Devil Hills Police are advising drivers in the area of Colington Road to be extra cautious due to temporary travel hazards. Construction at the Colington/US 158 intersection is ongoing, and it has created new travel patterns and reduced the number of travel lanes.At approximately 1:50 p.m. on Feb. 22, the power to the traffic signals at the intersection was inadvertently cut, rendering the traffic lights inoperative.

Police at the intersection are conducting manual traffic control. Please drive slowly and use extra caution when approaching and traveling though this area.
