Margaret Ipock Henderson of Manteo, March 7

Margaret Ipock Henderson, 98, of Manteo, NC died March 7, 2023, at Peak Resources – Outer Banks in Nags Head, NC. She was born January 19, 1925, in Craven County, NC, the daughter of the late James and Blanche Ipock.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Seth Henderson. Surviving is her children, daughter Katherine May, sons Charles and David Henderson, and six grandchildren.

A graduate of East Carolina University, Margaret taught school for several years. She is remembered fondly for 15 years of teaching at Manteo Elementary School. She was a longtime member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
