The March 23 women’s soccer match between First Flight and Hertford County game started off swiftly with two goals for First Flight, the home team, during the first 10 minutes of the half. The game finished at the end of the first half, with the implementation of the mercy rule, with First Flight winning by a score of 9-0.

The Kill Devil Hills squad, which moved its overall record to 3-2-1 on the season, was powered by Victoria Vanacore, Lilly Tortelli and Amanda Ponce Borjas who scored two goals apiece.
