Manteo women defeat First Flight 10-4 in softball

The Manteo women defeated their First Flight rivals by a score of 10-4 in a March 21 home softball contest. First Flight jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but the team managed only one more run the rest of the game.  Manteo chipped away at the lead, moved ahead and plated five runs in the sixth inning to seal the win. The two rivals face each other again Friday, March 24th, at First Flight.

Patrick Sinclair is the minister at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church in Manns Harbor.
