Opening Reception June 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.
In celebration of the nationally recognized Pride Month, Dare Arts has partnered with Out On The OBX and OBX Pridefest, to present their first-ever exhibit highlighting work by queer artists during the month of June.
Outside Straight Lines will open with a free and open to all reception on Friday, June 2 from 6 to 8 PM at the Dare Arts in Downtown Manteo during First Friday.. The art will remain on display through Friday, June 30.
June First Friday will also include musician Tripp Harrison playing jazz music on Old Tom Street and The Storyweavers playing Americana folk music in The Courtyard at Dare Arts from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Anyone who self-identifies with the LGBTQ+ community can participate! Work must be hand-delivered at appointment time to the Dare Arts Gallery located at 300 Queen Elizabeth Avenue in Manteo, between 10 am & 4 pm on Thursday, May 25, Friday, May 26, or Saturday, May 27.
