Currituck County Schools is pleased to announce the selection of Ms. Sharolyn Harry-Clark as the new principal of Central Elementary School for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, effective July 1, 2023.
Ms. Harry-Clark has devoted 28 years to public education and brings a wealth of experience to the district. She has taught both at the elementary and middle school levels followed by 16 years of service as a school level administrator and district level director. Her most recent position was at the district level as the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and Social Emotional Learning Coordinator at Lexington City Schools.
Ms. Harry-Clark’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Southern University and A&M College and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Louisiana at Hammond.
