Jeffrey Lee Turlington, born June 17, 1956, passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 66, in Powells Point, NC. Jeff was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Harry Turlington and Era Mae Powers Turlington. He is preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Turlington, and sister, Sharon Beattie. He was a carpenter by trade and spent his career using his skilled hands to build and create. Jeff was a member of Centerville Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA.
Jeff is survived by his sisters, Kay Moore, Betty Hargis, Lynn Clark, and Gayle Hildebrandt. He will be missed by his family and friends.
A service will be held at a later date.

So sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. He was passionate about building, and his carpentry projects.
Jeff was a reliable part of the fabric of the Outer Banks for a long time, and will be remembered as a really good guy.
Many will miss not having him around. My thoughts and prayers extend to his family, and those who shared his life.
