Emerie Reese headed to United Futsal Futures event

Emerie Reese is the 3 ranked player in her age group.

A hearty congratulations to Emerie Reese, an 11-year-old First Flight Middle School student who will be attending the United Futsal Futures event in Valencia, Spain in February 2024. She is currently ranked as the No. 3 player in the world in her age group.

Emerie has played for the OBX Storm in the past and is now in a pre-Elite Club National League in Virginia Beach, playing on the third-ranked team in the state.

In order to attend the Futures event, participants have to be invited by professional scouts and Emerie will live with a professional coach’s family overseas to train. 

Emerie is described by someone who knows her well as someone who “loves soccer but her sanctuary is surfing and swimming with her friends.  Hard worker who loves to compete!”
