Kevin Trueblood, age 56, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 25, 2023. He was born on July 26, 1967, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, to Bill and Shirley Trueblood.

Kevin had a strong work ethic, dedicating himself to the profession of auto mechanics. He displayed great skill and knowledge in his field, earning the respect and trust of those he served throughout his career.

Kevin was a member of Newbegun United Methodist Church.

Kevin leaves behind his daughter, Jessica Trueblood Hunt, and her husband Brian. He was blessed with two grandchildren, Ellary Grace Hunt and Breelyn Michelle Hunt. Kevin is also survived by his brother, Jeffery Lee Trueblood; nephews, Michael Trueblood and Zachery O’Malley.

Kevin Trueblood’s departure has left a void in the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have known him. His memory will be treasured, and his legacy will live on through the love and support he shared with family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Twiford Memorial Chapel with Reverend DeWayne Duncan officiating. Burial will take place at New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives immediately following the service in the Chapel lobby. Kevin’s service will be live streamed.
