UPDATE:  The Dare County Regional Airport’s 80th Anniversary Celebration that was scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 has been canceled. Step back in time and join us at the Dare County Airport’s 80th Anniversary Celebration on September 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.

The Dare County Regional Airport will host a free event in celebration of the facility’s 80th anniversary from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 410 Airport Road in Manteo. A wide array of vintage and modern aircraft will be on display throughout the event, which will also feature several presentations about the airport’s history, historic reenactments, antique cars, youth activities, food trucks, a variety of vendors and a silent auction.
