Edward Perrault Sierra, of Carova, NC, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 91. Ed was born on September 9, 1932, in Albuquerque, NM, to the late Florence and Cirillo Sierra.
Ed led a remarkable life, filled with notable accomplishments and dedicated service. He graduated from New Mexico A&M and went on to serve his country honorably as a Commander in the United States Navy. He was a proud VF-92 alumni. Ed’s commitment to excellence extended beyond his military service, as he worked diligently as a Program Director for Tracor Applied Sciences and C-Cubed.
Ed touched the lives of many through his devotion to his family and friends. He leaves behind cherished memories for his beloved wife, Mary “Biddy” House Sierra, their daughter, Lisa Kent and her husband Ashley, and their sons, Ed Sierra and his wife Shari, and Matt Sierra and his wife Lisa. Ed’s legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Mary Close-Arzon, Eddie Sierra, EB Zotian and her husband Dan, Jon Sierra and his wife Hannah, Jack Getty, and Catie Sierra, as well as his great-grandchild, Carter Close-Arzon.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA, on December 13, 2023 at 1:00PM with full military honors.

Edward Perrault Sierra will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and cherished in our hearts.
