Dive into the chilly ocean for a heartwarming cause!  Dare County Special Olympics invites you to take the Polar Plunge on March 9, 2024 at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head.

Dare County Special Olympics athletes bravely face challenges on the field, in the pool and on the court. They are the inspiration for the annual Dare County Special Olympics Polar Plunge.

By plunging, you’re helping raise funds for year-round sports training, competitions, leadership opportunities, and health services for our incredible Special Olympics athletes.

From bocce ball, bowling and basketball to cheerleading, track and field, and equestrian, Dare County offers opportunities for Outer Banks athletes ages 8 and older to develop physical fitness, enhance their athletic abilities, forge new friendships and enjoy a sense of social inclusion.

Be a part of something extraordinary! Help us make a splash for a cause that truly matters on March 9, 2024.
